You must stop enemy robots from reaching your base, and you have one weapon… A pretty unstable weapon that shoots automatically. Enemies are unstable too, exploding if the die, reach the base, or if you just touch them.

Awesome idea!

could you set it for 32 bits?

best game I've played for this jam! so good, i've came back and played it more times to try see how far i could go! great game 5 stars

Great well-built game!

The game design behind this game is brilliant. I love how minimal the mechanics are, but yet bring an ever changing and unexpected game experience when they all blend together.
On top of that, it looks and sounds gorgeous. Well done!

Thanks so much for the kind words! Im glad you liked it, we put a lot of effort on it, and tried to design each thing carefully.

Really fun game, nice assets, sound and gameplay. good job!

That was an absolutely fantastic experience. The graphics and pixel art are beautiful, the music works really well, the sound is great, and I love the idea and gameplay. My only real suggestion would be to allow the player to move by holding down the arrow keys, as frantically tapping to get to where I needed to go could get slightly annoying. I also noticed I couldn't type my name in the leaderboard which was odd. But otherwise I loved this game!

Thanks for the feedback! yeah, we got that recommendation about movement from other players too. Is a good idea. I'm glad you liked the game!

Nice game!! really awesome pixel art and execution love it, i should mention that music its fantastic entertained and original.

The developer has not uploaded a game yet...

Sorry! Can you check now? the game is uploaded and other people are playing it.

That's very entertaining so far - nice execution!

Yet, I had to check the credits to understand if this game had any audio - isn't working for me :(

Oh, im so sorry to hear that. Browsers have some issues sometimes. I will soon upload binaries for linux and windows, and will surely be a better experience.

Now it's working - Guess Chrome had "one of his moments" :D

It's SO much better now, love both the sound direction and the OST!

A bit unforgiving sometimes - the pacing feels so good tho!

I don't know if the waves are randomly generated but, if you feel like working on it some more, a few unrequested notes:

  1. sometimes a powerup gest completely hidden by an enemy on the lower row. (getting drawn additively?)
  2. would be nice to have the cooldowns in a place way closer to the player (or, on the player?)
  3. more feedback on the row or rows your next shoot is going to be (1 to 3 subtle 1-pixel lines with some dim flashing?)
  4. persistent upgrades (coins->shop->next play).
  5. a health bar and also lives, I was confused at first. Not because I've never seen one, but wasn't immediate to understand if the lives were the enemies getting to the base, or the health was my player's . Yet sometimes the only way to kill an enemy assaulting the base is to - go kamikaze on it?
  6. initially a higher chance of the bonuses being closer to the "home" cells
  7. colour coding (or adding some feedback) about each enemy's internal count state (when there's many it gets out of control).
  8. The online leaderboard seems to be filled with billions of entries with the same name - can you spam your name every time you press submit? :P

Just my feedback - other players may have completely different ones! :)

Keep up with the great work! :)

Wow thanks! Great ideas and feedback. We just fixed (i think) the leaderboards. We Will have in mind your suggestions if we decide to continue this!

SO FUN!  Im supposed to be studying, but I played this for 30 minutes haha.  I only wish you could just hold a direction to move rather than having to press it every time because my arm was getting tired!  My highest score was 1805!

Wow thats a lot! the game is still needs some update! we have until today at 19:00 (-3 local time) to finish!

Thanks for playing!
